(1) September 2009
Mazda’s domestic production volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in September 2009 decreased 22.5% compared to September 2008.

Mazda2 (Demio):	14,905 units	(down 27.9% year-on-year)

Mazda’s domestic production volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in the period from April through September 2009 decreased 31.2% compared to the same period in 2008.

Mazda2 (Demio):	82,346 units	(down 22.6% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production
(1) September 2009
Posting a year-on-year increase for the fourth consecutive month, Mazda’s overseas production volume in September 2009 improved 8.3% on September 2008, reflecting healthy production of passenger vehicles.

Posting a second consecutive increase for the April to September period, Mazda’s overseas production volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in the period from April through September 2009 increased 8.5% compared to the same period in 2008.

Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 6.5% (down 0.3 points year-on-year), with a 3.3% share of the micro-mini segment (unchanged year-on-year) and a 5.4% total market share (down 0.2 points year-on-year).

Mazda3 (Axela):	5,216 units	(up 219.8% year-on-year)

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume of passenger and commercial vehicles in the period from April through September 2009 decreased 14.7% compared to the same period in 2008.
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.8% (down 0.4 points year-on-year), with a 3.0% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 4.8% total market share (down 0.3 points year-on-year).
